What happened on WordCamp Sofia 2023 and what my session was about? Find out now
After a two-year hiatus caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the 11th WordCamp Sofia event took place on April 22, 2023. It is a gathering place for WordPress developers, programming experts, digital marketing professionals, and individuals who own WordPress-powered websites.
The preparation for the camp started months before April 22nd, with familiar faces from the Bulgarian WordPress community among the group of organizers – Atanas LambΠ΅v (Dralart Studios), Ivan Popov (Vipe Studio), Niki Krastev (NT Websites), Stanko Metodiev, and many others.
Over the course of two days – April 22nd for presentations and networking, and April 23rd for the contributor day – the WordPress community in Bulgaria immersed itself in valuable information, informal conversations, experience sharing, and networking.
As a speaker at WordCamp Sofia for the second time, I decided to make this lecture more technically oriented and provide a brief but foundational idea on how to create a custom theme for WordPress.
The topics I spoke about during the camp are themes that have been thoroughly explored and can be found here, on the {dev} blondie website:
You can download the complete presentation as a PDF or PowerPoint file.
